Motivating the dog to look forward to searching for lost people is the single most important thing we do during training.  Above, Charlie is getting rewarded for his first training find that began with just a scent article.  Charlie is enjoying a treat from the person he just found while his handler and the facilitator pet him and tell him what a good dog he is.  You can't see his tail, but it's wagging like crazy!
